What we do

All the programs and activities involved prayers, worship, and fellowship. The helpers will always be on alert for any calls that are coming from the government departments, churches, private sector groups, families, youth groups, individuals or any souls that needs prayers and fellowship.

  1. Public Holidays Programs

Esther, Christmas, and other public holidays are the times we will engage the working people to help spread the compassionate spirit towards fellow citizens and Christians that are in need. We will plan an outreach around the holidays when people feel alone, overwhelmed or in need. It is the best time to share the love of Jesus with others.

  1. Team up with churches, NGO’s who have the similar programs and activities.

Inorder to reach out to save as many people and souls as possible, partnership and unity is paramount. As stated in the book of Ecclesiastes 4, verses 9, “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labour”.

  1. Utilizing Technology (Use Phone, WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.) to reach people

The PNG Compassionate Ministry is a project within the bigger picture of humanitarian related activities. We make calls to individuals, local ministers and non-profits in the community that could use church support and involvement. Ask church leaders and the church congregation to organize a group to serve projects in the community that bring hope to those who need it. We further utilize social platforms for some compassion ministry initiatives and campaigns.

  1. Offer a relationship to a fellow brother and sister in Christ.

God do great things when we offer relationship to a friend or someone in need. We can do this by offering this loving and caring God. Make Jesus Christ loved and known to a neighbor and a friend. As a godly example, those of us who lead need to reflect the righteousness of God in our life’s inorder to be witness unto others. We can always preach or share the word of God over a cup of coffee, listening to someone’s problems and pray with them.

  1. Hospital Visitation and Praying for the sick

Sharing our time and listening requires a lot of patience. As such, when people come forward to offer prayer requests, stop, and listen. Thereafter, we can make the trip to the hospital to pray for those who are sick or hurt. Or we can always pray from home and asking God for deliverance and healing upon their life’s.

  1. Providing Food and Hospitality to those who need the most.

Providing food to the needy and homeless is a part of PNG compassion ministry. It is a great expression of love and caring and it can save the soul. We provide food and clothing to needy and to those who are in the homeless shelter and/or safe houses. As we all know, Compassion ministry is about doing, rather than saying. We do by taking a trip to see someone we haven’t seen in a while or visit a children’s ward in the hospital.
